"Sweet Reward's" is a Licensed Family Childcare Home, in Derby, KS. Hours are 7 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We cater to a "teacher's schedule"; meaning we are closed spring/summer/winter breaks. If you're a school teacher looking for care or if you can find other care for those breaks..we can oblige! :) I am a 35 yr. old Military wife and mommy of 3 (ages 3 months, 7, and 14). I graduated from Medical Assisting School in 2005, and then decided to be a SAHM with our newborn at the time. After 20 years babysitting experience, I decided to take it to the next level, so I completed Kansas Childcare Registration in February 2008. I am currently taking online classes to obtain my AAS degree in Early Education, and we became a KDHE Licensed Daycare in February of 2011. My home has passed the KDHE Fire/Safety Inspection and is totally child/infant friendly, and I am CPR/First Aid Certified. We are also involved with Childlinks Nutrition Food Program. We have loads of toys, arts & crafts, a huge fenced in backyard with several ride on toys, a playground, sand & water table, and in addition, we are conveniently located next door to a park! I offer great rates, flexible hours, preschool activities, Story time and Show n' Tell, "Wacky Wednesday", painting/coloring, homemade playdough, outdoor play, cooking/baking, trips to the park, library story time occasionally, and other educational & fun Field Trips.
